Amusement Parks and Camps (many camps closed down permanently during Covid.) If you would like me to add Canada, please let me know.
These camps and amusement parks are set apart from others because they are made with special needs people in mind. Many have financial programs/grants available. Some of the camps are week long with stays in cabins and such, others are day camps. Please refer to their site for details. I do list camps specifically for adults because there are so many families still caring for their adult children with disabilities (please note, many of these camps also serve adults).
Check with your health insurance companies. Some have funds set aside to help pay for camps like these, they are hidden under services called “Value Added Services.”
